Linda Yaccarino, the CEO of X, told CNBC on Thursday that she's spent much of her time at the company formerly known as Twitter trying to entice advertisers back to the platform. "I've lived on a lot of planes lately, direct conversations with CMOs and CEOs," she said. The X CEO's travels included jetting to Los Angeles last month to try to woo Hollywood stars, influencers, and Disney executives, the Financial Times reported. She previously told X staffers that they needed to deploy "hand-to-hand combat" to win back advertisers, referring to persuading advertisers in person rather than from behind a desk, the FT reported.
